Filters — Show all, More Filters, Company Keywords, bulk add to list
Show all clears the email-status filter (does not show extra rows). More Filters expands hidden filters at the bottom of the sidebar — click to toggle. Company Keywords combined with broad searches often times out. If 'cannot bulk add to list' appears, narrow filters first.
Filter buttons — Show all, More Filters, Company Keywords, bulk-add
If you've reported "Show all button doesn't work", "More Filters button doesn't work", "Company Keywords not working", or "cannot bulk add to a list because there was a problem with the filter" — read on. The buttons all work, but they don't always do what users expect.
"Show all" under Verified Only
The "Show all" button under the Verified Only section is not a "show me extra leads" toggle. It clears the email-status filter — meaning the search will include leads with any verification status (good, risky, unknown, bad).
| Setting | What gets shown |
|---|---|
| Verified Only (default) | Only leads with email_status = good |
| + Include risky | good and risky |
| Show all | All statuses, including unknown and bad |
If you click "Show all" expecting more leads to appear and the count doesn't change much, that means most of your matched leads were already verified. The filter is working — there just aren't many extra leads to add.
"More Filters" at the bottom of the sidebar
The More Filters button at the bottom of the filter sidebar toggles a hidden section containing additional filters (annual revenue, funding, technologies, etc.). Click once to expand, click again to collapse (the button label flips to "Less Filters" when expanded).
If the button appears not to do anything:
- Scroll down inside the sidebar — the new filters appear below the button, not above. On smaller screens you may not see them without scrolling.
- Hard reload (
Cmd-Shift-R/Ctrl-Shift-R) — a cached older bundle won't have the toggle wired correctly.
"Company Keywords not working — Failed to load leads"
Company Keywords by themselves are fine. The most common breaking combination is:
- Multiple Company Keywords (especially long lists) +
- Verified Only +
- Decision Makers +
- No location filter
This produces a query the database can't finish in time. The toast says "Failed to load leads" but the underlying error is Search query timed out. Try fewer filters.
Fix: Add at least a country filter. Trim your keyword list to the 2–3 most specific terms. See the leads-not-loading article for more.
"Cannot bulk add to a list — problem with the filter"
This error means the filter combination you have applied returns zero rows by the time the bulk-add request runs (sometimes the count shown is stale by a second or two). Two fixes:
- Apply your filters and wait for the count to update before clicking "Add all to list". The count badge needs to reflect your current filter set.
- Reduce the count — bulk-add has a per-call limit. If your filtered set is larger than the limit (typically 10,000), narrow filters first or use the export-to-list flow instead.
"Multi-page selection doesn't carry over"
This is a known UX gap, not a bug. Selecting leads on page 1 and navigating to page 2 clears the page-1 selection. Two workarounds:
- Use "Select all matching" (the checkbox in the header that selects across pages) — this respects your filter and selects the entire result set up to your plan's per-export cap.
- Apply filters to narrow the result to one page and select from there.
Still stuck?
Submit a ticket with the exact filter combination you applied (a screenshot of the sidebar with all filters visible is ideal). "Filter doesn't work" is hard to triage; "Verified Only + Decision Makers + Company Keywords [pressure washing, restoration] + no location → Failed to load" is one fix.
